FSU basketball got off to a slow start against Southeast Missouri State with the Noles not being able to buy a basket for long stretches.
The Noles were playing without starter M.J. Walker but leading scorer from last season Phil Cofer returned and was scoreless in five minutes of play.
Southeast Missouri was hot from beyond the arc early coupled with the Noles missing shots (1-12 in first half) keep the game close as they went into the half tied at 34-34.
The Noles went on a 12-0 run shortly after the 14 minute mark to pull away and eventually win 85-68.
