No. 17 FSU basketball seemed to form like Voltron at the end of last season, picking up their defensive intensity which fueled all the other parts of their game.
The Noles did the same thing Tuesday night against the rival Florida Gators en route to a blowout win 81-60.
It was the fifth straight win for FSU in the series and was never really that close as they led at halftime 31-20, but opened up a 34 point lead with five minutes to go in the game.
The Noles were led by P.J. Savoy’s 20 points as the sharp shooter was 5-7 from beyond the arc.
