It was another rather slow holiday-season schedule in college hoops over the past week, as only about half of all ranked teams played more than once. No. 19 Florida State was one of those teams, and the Seminoles took care of business against a pair of directional in-state opponents, North Florida and South Florida.
Top-ranked Kansas fell to No. 18 Villanova, so we’ll once again see a new team at No. 1. It won’t be Kentucky, but keep an eye on how far the No. 6 Wildcats plummet after an 0-2 week vs. Utah and No. 5 Ohio State.
