Three games into its 2019-2020 season, the Florida State men’s basketball team is already heading in the right direction, even after a tough road loss to Pitt to open the campaign.
The Seminoles’ 2-1 start, highlighted by a convincing win at Florida (then the AP’s No. 6 team in the country) has FSU on the rise. The best ranking system out there, KenPom, has the ’Noles 15th in the country, with the No. 41 offense and the No. 9 defense. Offensive continuity can take a bit longer to find than defensive coherence, so that’s not really a bad place to be at this stage.
