Fans got a glimpse of the 2017-18 Florida State Basketball team in their first exhibition against Central Missouri. The uptempo, 116-68 game, showcased an FSU style that is going to feature lots of 3-pointers and plenty of fast breaks.
But the team did it without two starters: Braian Angola and Trent Forrest. Freshman Wyatt Wilkes sat out as well.
There is no official word on who will be playing tonight.
The opponent is Thomas University, an NAIA school. They’ve already played three real games, and are 3-0 on the season. The team both makes (46%) and takes (21 per game) a lot of 3s, which will test FSU’s transition defense.
