When the FSU basketball team finished their regular season on Saturday with a win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, the Seminoles ended their main portion of the schedule with some history making events that maybe even the biggest follower of the Noles didn’t even know took place.
By beating the Deacs on the road, the Seminoles finished with a 25-6 regular season record – the most wins EVER in the regular season for a FSU basketball program that beat the previous record set by the 2016-17 and 1971-72 teams by one game.
It’s also just the second time in program history that the Seminoles have won over 20 games in a season for four straight years, a feat only matched by the span from the 2008-09 season to the 2011-12 campaign.
