He was the team’s leading scorer from a year ago with almost 13 points per game, and was the only player to start every game for FSU basketball in 2018.
Phil Cofer received a medical hardship waiver which granted him a fifth year of eligibility. An ankle injury sidelined him for all but 11 games his sophomore season.
FSU had lost two contributors from last year’s team in CJ Walker and Ike Obiagu, so the news of Cofer returning is huge to a team expected to be ranked preseason top 25.
