No. 8 FSU basketball (20-3, 10-2 ACC) got its 20th win with their regular season sweep of the Miami Hurricanes (11-12, 3-10 ACC) Saturday afternoon.
The game didn’t start well with the Noles playing sloppy and having to dig out of an early 10-2 deficit.
FSU had 10 turnovers in the first half and allowed Miami to shoot over 50 percent. The only saving grace was FSU shot lights in the first half at 58 percent to hold a 50-47 halftime lead.
The second half saw the Noles tighten up defensively while continuing to shoot it well, finishing at 53 percent overall and 50 percent from long-range.
