FSU basketball (10-2) couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn for most of the game against South Florida.
They were constantly launching three-pointer after three-pointer and getting crushed on the boards but eventually found a way to win 66-60 in the Orange Bowl Classic.
They were down by as many as 13 points in the first half before closing the gap to a 31-28 deficit at halftime. The second half saw a close game with FSU finally tying the game 47-47.
However, it looked as though USF was going to put the Noles away with a late 10-0 run to take a 57-47 lead with 6:13 remaining.
