Florida State basketball will have their final live action of the pre-season before the start of the regular season tonight. The Seminoles will take on Florida College in the annual Aubry Boyd game in the Tucker Center on Friday night.
Boyd played for the ‘Noles from 1988 to 1991 where he averaged 6.7 points and 2.5 rebounds a game in his collegiate career. After a promising senior season he moved back home to Macon, Georgia and in 1995 he was caught in an accident that lead him to be a paraplegic. Boyd was playing in a pickup football game where he was hit in an awkward area, breaking the fourth vertebrae in his neck.
