Before the season started, it was noticed that the schedule makers within the ACC didn’t do FSU basketball any favors with a three game stretch to open up conference play that saw the Seminoles play three teams currently ranked in the top 15 nationally – starting off with a road battle against the fourth ranked Duke Blue Devils.
While the Noles were in it for much of the game, the defending conference champs were just too much and handed Florida State their second loss of the season, winning 100-93 in front of another sellout crowd inside Camdon Indoor Stadium.
