Entering their season opening game on Tuesday, many were wondering if FSU basketball would be able to get back to the NCAA Tournament after making it to the second round last season. If the Seminoles play like they did in the opener against George Washington, the Noles should be back in the postseason come March.
Led by a team high 17 points from the new leader of the team, Terance Mann, Florida State ran out to a big first half lead and held off an early run from their opening game opponents to get an 87-67 win over the Colonials in front of a Tucker Center crowd hoping to see a positive start to the season.
