The career of Xavier Rathan-Mayes has been a fascinating one. He arrived in Tallahassee as a part of FSU basketball’s 2013 recruiting class. Mayes was a consensus top-50 recruit, so his addition was a major one for the program. There was even more interest in his commitment though, because of his high school teammate and best friend.
