No. 4 seeded FSU basketball (29-8) saw its season come to an end in a 72-58 loss and No. 1 seeded Gonzaga in the Sweet 16.
The Noles got off to a terrible start with eight turnovers in the first nine minutes of the game. That was one of my keys to the game as I knew Gonzaga was great at forcing turnovers coupled with FSU’s propensity to turn it over at times this season.
Gonzaga was up 11 points at halftime as the Noles had a chance to get the lead down to five or six points before turning it over and allowing a layup plus the foul as the half ended.
