FSU baseball (36-21) make it more difficult than it should have been, but ultimately they made the NCAA postseason for the 42nd consecutive season.
The Noles went 5-5 in their last 10 games and short of reaching the 40 win mark for the 42nd consecutive time.
They suffered losses to the likes of Wake Forest, Jacksonville and Stetson during that stretch which should have been wins for a program like FSU baseball.
So now the Noles enter the postseason needing four wins to continue their streak under Mike Martin. How crazy would it for the FSU football bowl streak of 36 consecutive years and the streak of 40 wins by the baseball team ending in the same year?
