Yesterday, the top-ten Florida State baseball team (32-14, 14-6) dropped its second decision of the year to the Jacksonville Dolphins, as the 'Noles, for the first time ever, were swept by JU. It's not the direction the Seminoles, who are still in the running for a national seed, would like to be heading, but they have a chance to right the ship this afternoon against FGCU (21-25). That contest will get going just after 1 pm amid temperatures predicted to peak around 90 degrees at Dick Howser Stadium in Tallahassee.
As this has been designated Fan Appreciation Day, there will be no charge for admission, and certain concession-stand items will be sold at discounted rates.
