For the first half of Saturday’s super regional opener on the road, it appeared like the FSU baseball team was in big trouble as they faced off against the LSU Tigers – but with just two swings of the bat by one of their star outfielders. the Seminoles are now just one win away from heading back to Omaha and the College World Series.
Powered by two homers from sophomore Resse Albert – included a three run dinger that made things very interesting for the visitors, the Seminoles came back from being no hit halfway through the game to finish off with a 6-4 victory over the Tigers in front of a packed house of rowdy fans inside Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.
