For the 33rd time in history, FSU baseball will get to play host to a regional in the annual NCAA Tournament when the Seminoles will be joined by three other teams at Dick Howser Stadium this weekend for the first round of this year’s road to the College World Series.
The Seminoles were named a host site on Sunday night, just hours after playing in one of the wildest ACC Championship Games ever. In a game that took over eight hours to play thanks to several rain delays, FSU baseball fought back from a 18-1 deficit to the Clemson Tigers to score 12 runs, falling just short of completing the comeback.
