After a middle of the season streak that saw the FSU baseball team playing some of the worst baseball in the entire college game at one point, the Seminoles entered Sunday playing some of the hottest baseball in the game that included series wins the previous two weekends against ACC foes Clemson and Virginia.
After getting two wins to start the weekend series against Wake Forest inside of Dick Howser Stadium, the Seminoles found themselves struggling to catch up at points – and despite getting within one run of tying the game, couldn’t finish the job and dropped the series finale 16-12 against the Demon Deacons.
