Playoffs are just around the corner in Summer ball leagues around the country and FSU players are catching fire at just the right time. The ‘Noles had many standouts in the last week, including a trio of arms coming from one team. The pitching staff is starting to show it has many top of the line arms that will all be competing for weekend spots.
Parker Messick made his fifth start of the summer yesterday morning and tossed a gem. The southpaw was one bunt hit away from a perfect game, going seven innings of one-hit ball (FCSL is only 7-inning games).
