FSU baseball had some struggles on the mound and in the field against Oakland University, but their bats were able to overcome those struggles in route to a three game sweep. FSU’s starting pitching had been stellar so far in 2017 but that wasn’t the case in two of their three games against Oakland.
FSU’s offense enjoyed their time at the park this weekend as they scored a total of 44 runs in three games. Fridays game was full of offense as FSU won 18-10. Saturday was a comfortable 12-1 victory behind another great performance by Tyler Holton.
