Over the history of the Florida State athletics program, the Seminoles have had to deal with the tragic deaths of players and coaches far too soon. Now, it is time for the FSU baseball team to mourn the loss of a player who had signed with the Noles and was prepared to join the team for the upcoming season.
Zach Attianese, who had previously played at North Carolina in 2017 before transferring to State College of Florida in Bradenton last season and later signing with FSU baseball for the 2019 season with two years of eligibility left, was killed in a car crash in Michigan that also took the life of his father.
