FSU Baseball: Mike Martin Signs Contract Extension Through 2018 Season

Less than 24 hours after being knocked out of the Super Regional round in the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season, FSU baseball head coach put his signature on paper to stay in Tallahassee for at least the next two seasons.

The school announced that Martin, who has been the coach of the Seminoles since the 1980 season after spending five seasons prior as an assistant for the school, had signed a deal to stay through the 2018 season:

“I am very pleased that Mike Martin will continue to lead our baseball program,” said athletics director Stan Wilcox.
