For the 17th time in his career as head coach of the FSU baseball team, Mike Martin led his Seminoles to Omaha and a spot as one of the final eight teams taking part in the annual event known as the College World Series – a spot not many people thought the Noles could get to at points earlier in the year.
For the 17th time in his career as head coach for the Seminoles, Martin will be bringing them back to Tallahassee without a national title after the Noles were eliminated from the event on Wednesday night with a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Texas Tech.
