After suffering their second defeat this season at the hands of the Jacksonville Dolphins, FSU baseball was back on the field Wednesday afternoon for a midweek game against Florida Gulf Coast. The outcome was the same as the Seminoles lost 11-8 in extra innings in their only meeting this season against the Eagles.
Early on, FGCU was a rude house guest as they stormed out to a 6-0 lead through two innings:
Fielding error pushes a run home, 1-0 Eagles.
Bases remain loaded with 1 out.

A single plates 2 more and it's now 5-0.
