It was just over a week ago that the FSU baseball team was counting their lucky stars for being one of the final four teams selected for the NCAA Tournament – and were, for the first time in decades, one of the lower seeds in a regional that had the writing on the wall of being the final weekend of the career for legendary head coach Mike Martin.
Fast forward to this point on the calendar – and 35 runs later – and the Seminoles are not just one of the 16 teams left standing in the madness of June, but with the way things took place last weekend and who the Noles beat there are some out there who think some magic might come out of this coming weekend down on the bayou of Louisiana.
