For the last six years, the winner of the Florida State-Clemson game has gone on to capture the Atlantic Coast Conference title. That could still be the case in 2017— but only for the Tigers, who will host the Seminoles on Saturday, October 11, in Clemson, South Carolina at 3:30 PM ET. That’s not a great time for FSU; for the ’Noles to make the ACC title game, the Clemson contest would have to be scheduled either earlier (like in the past) or later (as in, a future year), as Florida State has already been eliminated from any chance of winning the ACC Atlantic in 2017.
