Florida State is asking fans who plan to attend football games this season to wear a mask as a way to combat the COVID-19 virus and the new Delta variant. The move is part of the latest COVID safety protocols that the school released Friday.
“The information available regarding COVID-19 and the Delta variant continues to show that masks significantly reduce the spread of the virus, and the wearing of masks is expected everywhere on FSU’s campus, including our sports venues,” the school said on its website.
Many of the protocols that were in place last season will continue in 2021 including providing hand sanitizing stations throughout the concourses at Doak Campbell Stadium.
