Florida State University’s Board of Trustees met yesterday, discussing a variety of future-focused plans throughout the university but taking a portion of the meeting to discuss points of importance involving athletics. The big news came in the form of proposed changes to Doak Campbell Stadium in the reduction of capacity and makeover of seating capabilities.
Perhaps the most important, though, came in the form of an announcement from athletic director David Coburn that FSU should be announcing an NIL partnership in April.
“We will have an announcement regarding a partner to provide education and content creation for our student-athletes in the middle of this month,” Coburn said yesterday during a live-streamed meeting.
