Florida State’s 2019 defensive back class continues to stack high profile talent as four-star safety Brendan Gant has committed to Florida State. The second commitment of the weekend the 6’2 190 lb dynamo out of Kathleen High School in Lakeland, Florida. Brendan Gant is one of the nation’s best safeties ranking 114th nationally, eighth at his position, and 16th within the state of Florida in 247’s Composite Rankings.
Gant was previously committed to Alabama but parted ways with the Tide following an April 22nd visit to FSU; and the Seminoles have remained in control of his recruitment ever since.
