Former FSU Football Star Timmy Jernigan Traded From Ravens to Eagles

At the end of the 2016 NFL season, there were eight teams that did not have a FSU football graduate on their roster. One quarter of the league did not have the luxury of having a former Seminole on their 53 man unit. Just weeks before the NFL Draft, you can add the Baltimore Ravens to that list.

That comes after the two time Super Bowl champions moved defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan along with a third round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for… a higher pick in that round. Jernigan, entering his fourth year in the league and the final year of his rookie contract, became expendable when the Ravens became stacked at defensive line, according to front office staff to BaltimoreRavens.
