TALLAHASSEE — Florida State's quarterbacks are not where Jimbo Fisher would like them to be a week before the annual spring game.
Fisher was lukewarm at best when describing the play of his signal callers — Deondre Francois, Malik Henry and J.J. Cosentino — during Saturday's scrimmage. The coach began the spring by stating he wanted to see them take command of the huddle and exhibit leadership qualities before they started mastering the offense, but he did not see much of the prior in the team's second scrimmage of the spring.
"I was not pleased with that part of it today.
