Florida State came home to the Tucker Center and won 72-52 in a game that won’t make anyone’s highlight reel. While the ‘Noles technically covered, FSU committed 16 turnovers and 25 fouls to muck things up for players and fans alike. The victory moves FSU to 3-0 on the season.
First Half:
In a word, “yikes.” FSU looked out of sorts to open the game and unlike the first two games of the season, the discombobulation continued even after the second unit subbed in. Florida State did just enough right to maintain a lead against an overmatched opponent, while also doing plenty wrong to only lead 14-12 at the under-12 media timeout.
