The FSU Seminoles were looking to add depth to the linebacker position since Terrance Smith and Reggie Northrup are now gone, and that’s what they got this morning when 4-star linebacker Dontavious Jackson announced he was coming to FSU.
The Dontavious Jackson battle came down to Florida State and Texas with Texas being the favorite until today. We expected Jackson to stay in-state and play for the Longhorns, so this is huge for the Noles and their staff.
Dontavious Jackson is 6’2″ and 239 pounds from Alief Elsik high school in Houston, TX. This is a great addition to the class as he has a college ready body and could contribute some as a freshman.
