TALLAHASSEE — Auden Tate's size has been a game changer for the Florida State football team.
For the sophomore wide receiver though, it's nothing new.
When David Mitchell, Tate's head coach at Tampa Wharton High School, first met the receiver his sophomore year, the eventual four-star prospect was already 6-foot-2.
The height allowed Tate, now 6-foot-5, to learn how to play as a big-bodied receiver throughout his high school career, establishing the athleticism he has shown this season with the Seminoles thanks to his frame.
"The sky is the limit," Mitchell said. "He hasn't reached his full potential yet.
