Florida State QB McKenzie Milton, Clemson WR Justyn Ross among Comeback Player of Year nominees

Florida State quarterback McKenzie Milton and Clemson receiver Justyn Ross, both of whom faced potentially career-threatening injuries, are among the nominees for college football's Comeback Player of the Year award.

Milton was one of the latest nominees announced this week for the 4-year-old award presented by the Mayo Clinic that honors a player who recovered from a serious injury to play college football at a high level again.

Twelve of the eventual 30 nominees already have been announced, including Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, Notre Dame quarterback Jack Coan, Appalachian State receiver Corey Sutton and Baylor linebacker Terrel Bernard.
