Florida State fell to Georgia Tech by a score of 16-13 in tonight’s season opener. The ‘Noles had an early 10-0 lead but couldn’t keep their foot on the gas pedal. We heard from defensive back Asante Samuel Jr., defensive tackle Marvin Wilson, and wide receiver Keyshawn Helton after the game.
Samuel Jr. was the star of the game for FSU, snagging two interceptions from Jeff Sims early in the game. On what made the two interceptions possible, Samuel Jr. said, “I’d say it’s film study and determination to win. I’ve been watching those same plays on film and when I seen it, I just had to react and make a play.
