Florida State senior pitcher Allison Royalty announced via her instagram that she will miss the rest of the 2024 season with an injury.
The senior left Sunday’s Tallahassee Regional Championship game with a trainer after logging 1.2 IP. She was the winning pitcher for the Noles.
Royalty’s absence could play a huge role in the Seminoles’ Super Regional matchip with the Oklahoma Sooners this weekend as FSU is already playing without sophomore Makenna Reid. Reid’s status for the Super Regional remains unknown as she last pitched April 21.
Since that injury, Royalty and freshman Ashtyn Danley have led the FSU pitching staff.
