Details of the NCAA’s new targeting rule have been discussed at the media days for multiple conferences. The penalty remains reviewable, but in order for a player to be disqualified, it has to be “clear without a doubt.” Players that accumulate three targeting penalties will be disqualified for the remainder of the game in which the third penalty is given and the next full game.
