-Texas State rebounded nicely and beat up on Prairie View A&M 63-24
- Boston College (Week 3, 9/18) obliterated their second FCS opponent of the year. BC led Howard 62-0 at the half with both coaches agreeing on cutting each quarter down by 5 minutes each. BC ended the contest(?) as 76-0 winners. Hard to take much from this.
- Wake Forest (Week 5, 10/3) lost the ACC Basement Bowl to Syracuse (Week 9, 10/31) 30-17. Wake Forest was shut out in the second half while new Syracuse Eric Dungey picked it up in the second half ending the game by going 4-5 for 221 yards.
