- Even ESPN's David Hale is a bit surprised by the lack of Heisman love for Dalvin Cook.
Perhaps the most impressive aspect of Cook's game, however, is that he's done it behind a shaky offensive line. Cook has been stopped behind the line of scrimmage about 70 percent more often than Fournette this year, yet he's averaged 1.14 more yards per rush. If Cook crosses the line of scrimmage, he's unstoppable, averaging 11.01 yards per carry -- 24 percent better than any other Power 5 back (minimum 100 carries).
- To say the least, Jimbo Fisher was not pleased with FSU in their short yardage situations in the win over NC State, as detailed by Tom D'Angelo of the Palm Beach Post.
