Florida State now controls its own destiny. The athletic department will design a new course to stay relevant, instead of wasting dollars and hours without coming closer to a resolution. Gone are the days of sifting through redacted files in Mecklenburg County, and taking veiled shots from Tobacco Road; focusing on the actual sports will be the rallying point that brings people together.
The good news for FSU is that, historically, teams that underachieved dramatically in relation to their 20-year average tend to bounce back in a big way when they make coordinator changes.
