Florida State landed a commitment from Mike Arnold Saturday night, first reported by Brady Fred of the Lakeland Ledger. Arnold is an offensive tackle at Milford Academy in New Berlin (NY). Arnold is originally from Winter Haven, and committed to Virginia Tech out of high school, but ended up in prep school due to test scores.
Arnold is 6'5, 300 pounds, and has several Power 5 offers.

Arnold is the 17th commitment of the 2016 class for the Seminoles. You can never have too many big bodies on the offensive line, and if Roderick Johnson leaves early for the NFL, Arnold could be insurance if Brock Ruble or Abdul Bello don't develop quickly enough.
