Two wins last week have translated nicely for the Florida State hoops squad, as the Seminoles have risen two lines in the most recent Bracketology projection authored by ESPN’s Joe Lunardi. A 9-seed on January 25th, the ’Noles are now a 7-seed.
Lunardi has FSU opening play in Salt Lake City against 10-seed Baylor, as part of the West region. The winner of that game would get the victor of 2-seed Gonzaga and 15-seed UC-Irvine. Should the Seminoles upset the Zags in the tourney for the second straight year, they’d face whichever team survives the pod of 3-seed Houston, 6-seed Iowa, 11-seed Wofford, and 14-seed Grand Canyon.
