Florida State (35-20, 17-13) got blasted in two games over the weekend getting outscored 25-1 in games one and three but winning game two 14-3. The win was not enough to keep FSU’s tenuous grasp on a ranking as FSU fell out of D1Baseball’s top 25. FSU was able to raise their RPI to 50 over the weekend and can improve that even more in the ACC tournament. The ‘Noles will face the No. 18 NC State Wolfpack and No. 57 Wake Forest Demon Deacons. A win in one of those games could go a long way to getting FSU into the NCAA tournament.
