The 2020 MLB season is going to be different than ever due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The season has been shortened to just 60 games, with no fans in attendance. Some players are even starting to opt out of the season, such as Los Angeles Dodgers’ pitcher David Price. Today, Florida State’s most decorated baseball alum, San Francisco Giants’ catcher Buster Posey, has opted out of the season, as well.
Posey and his wife are currently adopting new born twin girls, which seemingly helped lead to the former MVP’s decision.
