Florida State Alumnus Brooks Koepka has won back to back U.S. Open titles. He’s the first golfer to do it since Curtis Fann did it in 1989. It’s also the second major championship of his career after joining the tour professionally in 2012.
Koepka is experiencing the most successful run of his career with top 12 finishes in the Masters, the PGA, & the Open Championships along with his two titles all coming after spring 2016. He finished the course at +1 overall after many professionals lambasted the USGA for losing the greens in the first three rounds; a mistake which they admitted and rectified for the final round on Sunday.
