The Dalvin Cook era officially got underway for the Minnesota Vikings Thursday night as they took on the Buffalo Bills on turned out to be his 22nd birthday.
Minnesota wasted no time allowing their second round draftee to get some work in by giving him the rock on the first three plays from scrimmage.
Cook showed good power running inside, moving the pile for about a six yard gain on his first carry. The second carry went for a tough three yards as Cook broke a couple of arm tackles.
Then Cook converted the first down with his first reception that went for about six or seven yards.
