It’s been a known commodity for some period of time that Robert Cooper was going to sign with Florida State. The four-star defensive tackle made it official during December’s Early Signing Period. Now, just ahead of Wednesday’s National Signing Day, Cooper will be waiting to see which other prospects will join him in garnet and gold, which we addressed in the podcast linked below.

Cooper, a Snellville (Ga.) South Gwinnett HS product, has been aboard with FSU since his commitment in June of 2016 while participating in a Jimbo Fisher Football Camp. His impressive frame (6’2, 377 pounds) has drawn interest from a number of programs of note including Alabama, Miami, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Michigan, LSU, Florida, Wisconsin and Notre Dame.
