Returning to the practice field for the first time since being denied a spot in the College Football Playoff, Florida State kicked off prep for its Orange Bowl matchup vs. the Georgia Bulldogs on Tuesday.
It was a moderate return to normalcy for the Seminoles with the hurt of the snub still lingering for coaches and players alike.
“The season ended, and you basically got 12 hours to celebrate what was an unbelievable accomplishment for this team,” head coach Mike Norvell said after practice. “Then you had to learn how to work through disappointment, hurt, frustration, anger, every bit of it.
